THE 17TH CENTURY (1603-1714)

Below are various books and other sources of information on the 17th century (which I have conveniently decided means 1603-1714; i.e. from the death of Elizabeth I to George I). Older material is quite often out of copyright in many countries and available online. I have added links where appropriate but you are cautioned that any downloading is your own responsibility and that it is up to you to check what legal framework may be applicable in your case.

Further down you will find fiction from and about the period, as well as suggestions for movies set in the period. The lists are by no means exhaustive and will be added to when I find the time.

Suggestions are gratefully received.

Enjoy!
